Promising young talent Morgan Bain is sickly impressive. At only the tender age of 16, Bain’s voice echoes maturity beyond his years and plays guitar like a pro. The blues and roots artist is also a talented songwriter with his four track debut EP Another Day proving Bain has got what it takes to compete with the best of them.

Bain performs all vocals, harmonies, acoustic and electric guitar and harmonica on Another Day and doesn’t skip a beat. Feel The Beat introduces the teenager’s incredible bluesy voice that growls and gravels like a wise broken-hearted man. All songs are toe tapping, blues and roots gems with soul. Bain partners up with well-known producer Rob Agostini and together have great chemistry which oozes from every slap of a very well played guitar. Title track Another Day is an easy moving funk and blues displaying emotion that is unusual for someone so young. The multi-instrumentalist is also showing sure signs of becoming a serious hit-making force with ear pleasing melodies proven by WAMI winning Unkind.
It’s really hard to say anything bad about this up and rising star and Bain’s first release is just a small taste of greater things to come. Another Day is a must acquire for any Australian music lover and we’re sure to see more of this very, very talented young man.
